Fill your kitchen with US brands: Calphalon Cookware

by Monday, October 3, 2016

When you’re searching for cookware, bakeware or cutlery that was made in America, look no further than Calphalon Cookware. This American company began in 1963 in Perrysburg, Ohio, as Commercial Aluminum Cookware Company. It wasn’t until 1968 that the business created the professional line of cookware called Calphalon. And not until 1997 did the company officially change its name to represent the brand.

Since those initial days of offering top-quality cookware, the company has expanded to include utensils, bakeware and cutlery.

Because Calphalon Cookware is crafted from high-quality material, chefs of all backgrounds, talents and skills can find the right product for their uses. From everyday pans and skillets to bakeware sets to precision cutlery items, everyone can appreciate the superior designs of this American-made dishware.

If you feel overwhelmed with all the products choices available, don’t fret! There are special spots on their website where you can easily compare the products. Just peruse the cookware comparisons, bakeware comparisons and cutlery comparisons to find the right item (or items!) for you.

Even with all the changes in the company since its early days, Calphalon Cookware is still made in the USA. This includes the newer and more popular lines, such as Unison, a non-stick, dishwasher safe line of cookware. All you have to do is turn over a dish and see the “Toledo, OH” stamp on the bottom.

You can find Calphalon Cookware in various stores throughout the country. Check this map to find a store closest to you.
