The revenue generated for a number of businesses during this holiday season is almost astounding! This year, the National Retail Federation predicted more than $465 billion would be generated during this gift giving time, which could lead to 4.6 million jobs if these efforts were focused solely on purchasing American goods.

On an individual level, one shopper spending just $64 on Made in America products results in 200,000 created jobs.

ABC News recently launched their “Are You In?” campaign, encouraging Americans to find and share exemplary products that are domestically produced. Their search took them to The Lincoln Center in New York City, which boasts props and set pieces created here in the USA for their Nutcracker ballet. A number of the actors excitedly pointed shoppers to stores including Burt’s Bee’s, Lucky Brand, and Art of Shaving for quality gifts this season.
