The Lisle Corporation was founded in 1903 by C.A. Lisle and manufacturers specialty automotive tools. The company originally got its start in Clarinda, Iowa, manufacturing horse-powered water well drilling machines, and later expanding their product line to offer washing machines, cream separators, and lawn mowers.
In the 1920s, Lisle made a name in the automotive industry by producing master ignition vibrators for the Ford Model T. Throughout the years to come, Lisle Corporation continued producing parts and tools for the automotive industry, and by the 1950s made the decision to focus solely on producing new and innovative specialty automotive tools. They now boast a line of tools consisting of over 400 different products, most of which are still manufactured in the original factory in Clarinda, a small city in Iowa.
