Sterilite has been globally known as the biggest independent producer of plastic housewares for over fifty years now. This company offers a wide variety of storage products available for customers, and all their plastic goods are crafted with quality polyethylene and acid-free.

The company began making plastic combs, toothbrush holders, and many other personal items for the men and women serving in the armed forces during WWll. Since that time, they’ve also produced toys, plastic giftware, and different tabletop products, including beverage cups, and plastic containers.

In 1960, Sterilite expanded their line to include a wide range of plastic houseware products like food storage containers and bins. Today, they sell products for laundry, bedroom, kitchen, garage, pet, and food storage needs. Purchased Sterilite in the past? Let us know what you thought of this MIA company in the comments below.

Nothing says “America” quite like the need to hold on to every material possession we’ve worked hard to amass. This is where Sterilite products come in. No American decor is complete without a closet, attic, garage, bonus or craft room stylized completely with Sterilite’s fantastic storage containers. I’ve found that December 26, Boxing Day, generally finds me at a big box store loading up my cart with Sterilite storage products of varying sizes. It never seems to matter if they are actually needed or not. There is an intense urge to stockpile these well-made products for a “just in case” or “you never know” situation. The fact that Sterilite’s history began with the production of goods for the armed forces during WWII makes me that much prouder to use these 100% American products. Thank you, Sterilite.
