Dalluge Hammers

Designed by a professional carpenter, for the professional carpenter, Dalluge Hammers are made to have the best head to handle weight ratio – so you feel like you’re swinging a hammer half the weight. This results in less stress to your elbow and shoulder joints.

Gerald Dalluge began as a small operation from a stepvan that repaired and refaced hammers and other tools.  He started making hammers using rig builders hatchets and straight clawed hammers by cutting off the hatchet and claws, shaping the parts and then welding them together.  This hammer design surpassed even the self-made original and quickly became popular enough to be made in all different sizes.

Gerald continued to make his hammers in his own garage until 1999 when he sold the company to Vaughan Manufacturing Company – who is still committed to making Gerald’s design in the US.  They provide American jobs and create a solid product you can depend on for your next DIY or serious build project.
