When you go on those cross country car trips, or fly from one city to the next, what is something you can count on seeing?

If you answered ‘trees’ then you were thinking the same thing as us! American wood products and forestry industries are very important in supporting states’ economies, as well as the U.S. manufacturing base as a whole.

Woodworking and U.S. saw mills employ 80,000 workers across America. That represents a yearly payroll income of close to $3 billion. Not to mention the other 230,000 American workers that depend directly on sawmills for their employment.

Based on many studies, the U.S. lumber industry is among the most efficient lumber industries in the world. Supporting American made solid wood furniture and other American lumber products, help boost our economy, provide jobs, and show pride for our country!
